Day 1 – Sunday: Bilbao-Marrón/Ampuero

Reception at the Concordia Station in Bilbao at 12:00 on board the train, there you will be introduced to the crew and the accommodation. You will lunch and have a full day tour in the city; a villa full of dynamism that has managed to reinvent itself after the decline of its traditional heavy industry. Your day will also include a visit to the famous Guggenheim Museum, symbol of this new Bilbao. You will also get to visit the Hanging Bridge of Portugalete. While we have dinner on board, we will arrive at Brown / Ampuero where we will spend the night.

Day 2 – Monday: Marrón/Ampuero-Santander

After breakfast on board, our coach will take us to visit Santoña with its Spectacular Marshes Reserve of the Biosphere, where we will visit one of its Artisanal canned anchovy and bonito bonito factories. We will take a boat that will cross the spectacular bay to reach Laredo. We will have lunch in the train as we arrive in Santander, the elegant capital city of Cantabria. Here, we will have a panoramic tour and exploration of the city. Afterwards, we will have dinner at a well-known restaurant in the city. After dinner, a visit to El Gran Casino del Sardinero is optional.Overnight in Santander.

Day 3 – Tuesday: Santander-Arriondas

After breakfast, our journey takes us to Cabezon de la Sal where we will to visit the village of Santillana del Mar. With its medieval historic center, marvel at the magnificently preserved landmarks. We will also visit the Neocueva de Altamira and a museum with a reliable reproduction of the maximum exponent of the cave art of the Upper Paleolithic.

We will have Lunch on board the Train. By then, we will be approaching Ribadesella.

Dinner and overnight in Arriondas.

Day 4 – Wednesday: Arriondas-Llanes

In Arriondas, you will have breakfast onboard. We will journey to the heart of the Principality of Asturias. We will visit the magnificent National Park of the Picos de Europe, ascending to Lake Enol, and then we will go to the Sanctuary of Covadonga, sacred place full of tradition and legend. Then in Cangas de Onis, first capital of the Astur Kingdom with Don Pelayo. After lunch in the train, we will continue our journey until we arrive in Llanes. Overnight in Llanes.

Day 5 – Thursday: Llanes-Candás

During breakfast we will arrive in Oviedo, the capital of the Principality of Asturias and exponent of the Asturian pre-Romanesque, with jewels like San Julián de los Prados. We will tour the city and have lunch.In the afternoon, we will journey to Candas where we will visit Avilés, an industrial town that has preserved its valuable historical center. Overnight in Candas

Day 6 – Friday: Candás-Gijón

After breakfast, we will prepare our luggage and we will say goodbye to the train. We will travel to Gijon by bus, a city close to the Cantabrian Sea rich with cultural events. After the visit, we will eat at the Parador de Gijón where our trip will end at approximately 16:00h.
